What are you monitoring?

Choose the type of system. This determines the PromQL queries and default panels.

What data sources do you have?

Select which exporters / integrations are running in your environment.

Prometheus URL

Used to connect the Grafana datasource in the provisioning YAML.

Kubernetes Namespace (regex)

Used to filter pod/container metrics. Leave .* for all namespaces.

Choose your panels

Click to toggle. Green border = included. Defaults are pre-selected based on your category.

Set alert thresholds

These values will be used to colour panels yellow (warning) and red (critical).

Dashboard settings

Configure the dashboard title, refresh rate, and time range.

Review your dashboard before building. Clicking Build will open the dashboard in the Builder where you can further customise every panel.
